Brookfield Orchard, in Brookfield Mass., was first established in 1918 by Arthur W. Lincoln. Now, after more than 100 years, the fifth generation of the Lincoln family owns the business passing on the family’s traditions to the generations to come. Alongside the vast orchard, they feature a store where visitors can buy homemade sweets and of course apples, as well as a large playground area to entertain the kids. Every year, visitors pick their own apples straight from the trees, choosing from 17 different varieties available from mid-July through November.
