Question 1 which is also known as the “millionaire’s tax” asks whether or not anyone earning more than a million dollars should be paying 4% more on top of the 5% income tax mandated in Massachusetts. Andrew Farnitano is the Communications Director for Fair Share of Massachusetts Campaign. His organization supports Question One hoping that the state will vote to impose the 4% tax if a person’s income is over $1 million dollars.
