MANCHESTER, N.H. –– President Trump held his first campaign rally since being acquitted on charges of impeachment Monday night. Outside the Southern New Hampshire University Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire, where he spoke to more than 11,000 supporters on the eve of the New Hampshire primary.
BU News Service reporter Chloë Hudson asked the president’s supporters what they liked most about the president — and whether the impeachment process changed their minds about the commander-in-chief.
The rally attendees expressed support for a wide variety of President Trump’s actions in office, from building up the economy and the military to providing jobs. They were also unanimous in their distaste for the impeachment trial and said the president handled the situation well.
