BOSTON — The sixth annual Frog Pond Pumpkin Float event took the stage at Boston Common’s Frog Pond on Friday, Oct. 18, 2019. Hundreds of families filled up the park to celebrate Halloween with kids dressed up in spooky costumes. The Frog Pond glowed in orange with floating lighted pumpkins carved and carried by the families and put in the pond by the volunteers. The carousel, a fluorescent playground, an inflatable pumpkin and a spooky mansion, as well as other child-focused activities entertained the children. The event was organized by Boston Parks and Recreation in partnership with the Skating Club of Boston.
