Hundreds of corporations, including Starbucks, Amazon and GM released a joint statement Wednesday opposing limits on voter rights. Though corporations and the Republican party have been allied for decades, business leaders have increasingly spoken against GOP policies in the wake of the Capitol Hill insurrection and the Georgia voting bill.

WTBU reporter Joel Lau speaks with Boston University Political Science Professor Cathie Jo Martin, author of “Stuck in Neutral: Business and the Politics of Human Capital Investment Policy,” about why corporations have fallen out of love with the GOP.
