The Atlanta Drone Group, in partnership with Aerodrome and the city of Boulder City, hosted the Drone Rodeo on Jan. 4 at the Aerodrome/El Dorado, the world’s first droneport. The rodeo is an event where buyers, consumers and reporters can see and fly the latest industry drones in the open air of the desert. Matt Sloane, CEO of the Atlanta Drone Group and the executive producer of the rodeo, said the goal was to show off the true power of the drone outside of the cage of the convention center.
