Boston voters turned out Tuesday to decide who will compete for open spots on the City Council in November.

Candidates who made the top eight:

Councilor at Large

Michelle Wu – 19%
Annissa Essaibi George – 14%
Michael F. Flaherty – 14%
Alejandra Nicole Stguillen – 9%
Julia Mejia – 8%
Althea Garrison – 7%
Erin J. Murphy – 7%
David Halbert – 5%

Candidates who made the top two:

Councilor for District 5 (Hyde Park)

Ricardo Arroyo – 30%
Maria Esdale Farrell – 24%

Councilor for District 7 (South End/Roxbury)

Kim Janey – 70%
Roy Owens Sr. – 17%

Councilor for District 8 (Back Bay/Fenway)

Priscilla Kenzie Bok – 50%
Jennifer Ann Nassour – 18%

Councilor for District 9 (Allston/Brighton)

Craig R. Cashman – 25%
Liz A. Breadon – 24%
