BOSTON — Bathrooms have become a battleground for the LGBTQ community. Boston University has begun converting all 743 nonresidential single-occupancy bathrooms to gender-neutral across all three campuses. Michael Donovan, vice president for campus planning and operations, showed me a newly converted bathroom in the College of Communication building at BU.
