Ariana Chacon, a Venezuelan immigrant who found her artistic voice at 13 years old, shares her story of exploring themes of crisis and resilience in her homeland. She dives into Venezuela’s challenges, transforming her emotions into powerful pieces that shed light on her country and people.
Chacon is a second-year Industrial Design major at Rhode Island’s School of Design. She was born in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to Miami, Florida at 8 years old. Chacon’s art, activism and aspirations significantly raise awareness of her homeland’s crisis.
