What the Papal Visit Means for Catholic Latinos

Without the Hispanic and Latino population, membership in the Catholic Church in America would be flat. Thanks in part to the pope’s South American heritage and his push for acceptance of immigrant populations across the world, 38 percent of Catholics in America are Latino or Hispanic. Cristina Gallotto reports from Washington about how Latinos are preparing for the papal visit.
