BOSTON – Voting season is looming near and starting Monday voters in Boston can head to the polls. The early voting period runs from Oct. 22 to Nov. 2 this year, with the general election being held on Nov. 6.

If you are registered to vote in Boston, you do not need a reason to vote early, nor do you have to go to a certain voting location, according to the City of Boston.

Boston City Hall is the main center for early voting, open every weekday during the two week period. Other”pop-up” voting locations are open on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are also voting locations open during the weekend.
