WATCH: Children ages 5-11 now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Massachusetts

The CDC has cleared the pediatric vaccine for children ages five to eleven in Massachusetts.

Parents can now make appointments to vaccinate their children from COVID-19 with the pediatric vaccine, which is 1/3 of the adult dose and is given in two shots, three weeks apart.

Phoebe Chen spoke to a pharmacy representative who said immunization appointments are quickly booking up. To book an appointment at a pharmacy or local vaccination site, visit vaxfinder.mass.gov.
