This morning Toyota announced its new concept vehicle, the e-Palette, which aims to be the self-driving future of transport. With its odd, boxy shape, the concept can be reconfigured for a variety of different uses. Among them are ridesharing, traveling storefronts and delivery. Toyota president Akio Toyoda, partnering with Uber, Amazon and other companies, believes the e-Palette will transform the auto landscape in major ways.
