In August, the Motorcycle Industry Council, a national motorcycle trade association, said scooter sales in the first half of this year increased by 4% compared to the same period last year. “Now, with the pandemic, it has amplified what’s positive about getting out on motorcycles. You can get out of the house, have fun with your loved ones and still maintain social distancing,” said MIC President and CEO Erik Pritchard in an August press release.
