Two Arrested In Brookline Shooting, Stabbing Case

Police have arrested two suspects believed to be involved in Wednesday’s shootings and stabbings in Brookline.

Antonio Brown Jr, 27, of Cambridge, and Khari A. Wilcox, 18, of Dorchester, were arrested for armed assault in a dwelling, armed assault with intent to rob/murder and unlawful possession of a firearm. The suspects are under doctor’s care at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

At least two other suspects, whose identity the police cannot comment on at this point, are at large and being pursued by the Brookline and Boston Police departments. Police are investigating if drugs were involved.

According to Brookline Police, the person at 198 St. Paul Street had a relationship with the assaulter and has had an encounter with the police before.

“This was a targeted crime,” said Police Chief Daniel O’Leary.

The two individuals will be arraigned this afternoon at the hospital.
