TPS recipients march for permanent status in DC

BOSTON – Temporary Protected Status holders who are afraid of being deported from the country later this year rallied in Washington D.C. on Tuesday.

President Trump announced last year the termination of the permits, which gives temporary protection for people from countries that have experienced natural disasters or war.

We spoke to Jose Pineda, an El Salvadorian living in Saugus, who went to the D.C. rally on Tuesday.
