The Church of Scientology will make Allston its new home.
According to the Boston Herald, the organization has purchased three buildings alongside the Massachusetts Turnpike on Lincoln Street in Allston for $15 million. The buildings will house the church’s new headquarters.
The purchase of the new buildings comes after the church “abandoned costly plans to renovate the South End’s former Hotel Alexandra as its headquarters and put that property up for sale in November,” according to the Boston Herald.
