HubWeek, an annual festival showcasing art, science and tech, launched at a new venue on Tuesday. Relocated to the Seaport district from its former perch on City Hall Plaza, this year’s three-day event features a long lineup of speakers, virtual experiences, art and more. As usual, the opening Silent Disco drew fans who danced to their own tunes playing through lighted headphones. This year’s theme, “The Pursuit”, features talks on topics ranging from Artificial Intelligence to cutting-edge tech. HubWeek runs Oct. 1-3, 2019. Follow BU News Service for coverage of the event this week.
