MANCHESTER, N.H. — Sen. Bernie Sanders’ supporters were fired up at his campaign headquarters at Southern New Hampshire University on Tuesday night as the votes were counted, with Sanders holding a narrow lead over former Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Amy Klobuchar. As the night wore on, attendees shared their hopes, their concerns and their reasons for joining Sanders in Manchester on primary night.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, who left New Hampshire early to head to South Carolina, was in fifth place, ahead of Tom Steyer and Tulsi Gabbard. Andrew Yang and Michael Bennet both announced earlier this evening that would be suspending their respective campaigns.
