Elina-Alem Kent is a Boston University alumna and reporter for the Kyiv Independent, an English-language news site in Ukraine. As a blacklisted journalist she has had to leave Kyiv for her own safety.
Kent explained the latest news to WTBU’s Grace Ferguson from a city in western Ukraine.
