If you’re a student at BU, you’re probably familiar with the BU Gigs page. The page is an online social marketplace for students to post requests and offers for other students. Through BU Gigs, students can sell items, find housing sublets and promote events on campus and in Boston.
Kaluwe Muntanga invented Gigs pages at several institutions, including Boston University, Northeastern, NYU, Columbia, Harvard and Stanford.
With his Gigs pages gaining popularity, Muntanga launched a new app, SocialCall, this month.
WTBU reporter Steven Gelman spoke with Muntanga about the launch of his new app.
