English singer-songwriter Tom Odell brought “The Monsters Tour” to Boston’s Paradise Rock Club on Saturday. He gained recognition in 2014 after receiving the songwriter of the year award at the Ivor Novello Awards. His songs were featured in shows and movies such as “The Blacklist” and “The Fault In Our Stars.”

Accompanied by his opening act Ber, the folk-pop artist serenaded the crowd with stripped down versions of his biggest hits as well as unreleased tunes. Boston University News Service photo editor Mild Laohapoonrungsee and staff photographer Maggie Wen captured the sentimental night.
