Over the past weekend, the Chinatown community in Boston celebrated the start of the Lunar New Year. 2022 is the year of the tiger in the Chinese zodiac, which signifies being courageous, competitive and ready for a challenge.

Boston University News Service photographer Nanxi Cheng captured the neighborhood as people started to bond over the Spring Festival tradition.
