America’s biggest shopping day is expected to look a lot different in the age of the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing. On Monday, Gov. Charlie Baker encouraged people to shop online and support local businesses.
“If you do go to the store to go shopping, you should obviously pay attention to the protocols and recognize and understand that a huge part of the local economy here in Massachusetts is driven by consumer spending,” he added. “Take a closer look at some local favorites and how they are changing Black Friday for the pandemic.”
