WEYMOUTH — The people of Weymouth are battling with the state government to prevent the construction of a natural gas compressor. They fear the toxic pollution from the compressor could increase disease risks as well as fear the compressor itself could explode in the densely populated area. They are working hard to make their concerns heard, however, the Baker administration continues to move forward with granting permits. One weymouth resident has been going to Governor Charlie Baker’s waiting room during lunchtime in protest for over one hundred days.
