The 50th annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will open its doors next week in Las Vegas. The show has grown and evolved from its first New York City show in 1967. Back then, there were only 14 exhibitors in 100,000 square feet of show space. 49 years later, in 2016, CES featured more than 3,800 exhibitors in over 2.4 million square feet of show space. Check out the vintage photos above to see how the show has evolved over the years. Coming soon: BU News Service will be on the ground in Las Vegas checking out the latest tech trends.
