Boston University alumni running at the Boston Marathon

The 126th Boston Marathon welcomed runners and spectators once again this year. Steph Forbes, a 2021 Boston University graduate, who is currently working for Ernst & Young participates in Boston, shared her runner’s journey after training for this race for the past four years.

Boston University News Service’s photographer Maggie Wen chatted with Forbes about her journey.

Forbes said that during some of the first attempts of long distance running, her watch broke but she realized that she was running faster than her usual speed.
