LISTEN: Education researcher Bree Dusseault on teacher shortages

Boston Public Schools has a staffing problem—shortages of teachers and substitutes are forcing schools to constantly reassess whether they can stay open.

And Boston isn’t alone. Bree Dusseault, a researcher at Arizona State University’s Center for Reinventing Public Education, says schools across the country are having trouble filling positions.

WTBU’s Grace Ferguson asked her about the problem and possible solutions.
