WATCH: ‘A harbinger for things to come:’ Discussing the rise in consumer prices with John W. Snow

Consumer prices in the United States jumped up by 6.2 percent over the past year, according to a report filed by the Labor Department this week.

Officials also reported a jump of .9 percent alone between September and October, as core inflation, increased by 4.6 percent, one of the fastest gains since August 1991.

Gwynn Vaiciulis spoke with former U.S. Secretary of Treasury and economist John W. Snow for insight on the increase in wholesale prices.
