Monster Mashed-up, one of Somerville’s summer street events, held on Halloween day returned after a year due to COVID-19.
The event featured multiple bands, a costume parade, and some nice treats. For the first time the event also featured activities celebrating the Day of the Dead. The Union square event was forced to end early as the afternoon rains headed in.
