Boston University is spearheading an ambitious Zero Waste Plan to reduce the University’s greenhouse gas emission by eight to ten percent.
The plan is the result of over four months of analysis by a 54-person task force, and is transforming how BU thinks about its waste stream.
The new plan was presented by the associate Vice President of sustainability, Dennis Carlberg, at the Spring 2021 Management Town Hall Meeting.
