Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren spoke to supporters at her campaign headquarters in Manchester, N.H. Tuesday night as primary results rolled in. The Massachusetts senator promised to continue her campaign, saying her White House run is “just beginning.”
Warren congratulated the frontrunners in New Hampshire, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and former South Bend, Ind. Mayor Pete Buttigieg, for their strong performances in the Granite State, as well as Senator Amy Klobuchar, who placed third. She then reiterated her primary motivations for running, underlining her intentions to create equity in the economy and fight corruption.
Many of her supporters talked about feeling a connection with the candidate, with one rally attendee saying Warren’s speech drew tears.
