The 128th annual Boston Marathon participants and their families gathered at Boston City Hall Plaza this weekend for Fan Fest. The three-day event started Friday, April 12 until Sunday, April 14.

Fan Fest was presented by Dicks Sporting Goods and featured live performances by KR Dorsey, The Femmes, Legends of Summer and more. The weekend was filled with yoga classes, face painting and a meet and greet with the New England Patriots mascot.

On day one of fan fest, Adina Crawford, a yoga instructor in Boston led a yoga class that focused on balance, mobility and yoga stretches. Black Men Run Boston, a group of runners who fight for “brotherhood, unity and health for all Black men in Boston,” led a community shake-out run; followed by another yoga class led by Crawford.

Participants and their families could enjoy the festivities whether it was purchasing apparel from the Adidas pop-up or sitting back, relaxing and enjoying a cold Samuel Adams beer while watching the performances.

Other vendors in attendance included Bank of America, Poland Springs, New England Honda Dealers and Citgo.

Fan Fest allowed participants to celebrate before lacing up their shoes on race day.
