Chenyao Xu followed the Xi’an Jiaotong University Rowing Club on their brief visit to Boston for the 51st Head of the Charles regatta.

CAMBRIDGE MA – Oct. 18, before getting into rowing boat, Xi’an Jiaotong University Rowing Club’s nine competitors are warming up near the Riverside Boat House where they will depart later. CAMBRIDGE MA – Oct. 17, after watching the 51st Head of the Charles Rowing Regatta in the morning, Zhiping Wang, left, the captain of Xi’an Jiaotong University Rowing Club is buying souvenirs with his team member, Yuankai Zhang, right, in a shop near Harvard University. It’s the first time for most of the team members visiting the U.S. and they will leave on Oct. 19 so that they spend all their spare time walking around the city and buying knick-knacks.
