BOSTON — Chess is a game of planning rather than reacting. To succeed it’s not enough to know how the pieces move, you’ve got to be able to plan moves in advance. Having such foresight is difficult enough in a one-on-one match. Imagine having to predict the play of up to 25 people at a time. Reporter Alexander Hyancinthe has more.
