UPDATE Thursday, 5 p.m.: The Associated Press is reporting the gunman was killed during an exchange of gunfire with police officers. The gunman was a 20-year-old man.

UPDATE Thursday, 4:45 p.m.: The Associated Press is reporting that 13 people are dead as a result of the shooting.

Original story: A shooting at Oregon’s Umpqua Community College has resulted in 10 deaths and more than 20 injured, according to a report from CNN and the Oregon State Police.

CNN states that the shooter is in custody, and it is unknown if the shooter was injured.
